Dr. Ed Cheong, the heart of The Palm Dental, is a highly skilled surgeon who redefines modern dentistry through precision and empathy. He holds advanced certifications in Implantology, Orthodontics, and is a certified Invisalign Provider, along with a Fellowship of MOPA (Malaysian Orthodontic Practitioners Association), member of the ITI (International Team for Implantology) and member for MDA (Malaysian Dental Association). Specialising in aesthetic and implant dentistry, he has created a serene clinic focused on delivering confident, anxiety-free smiles through a unique blend of technical skill and holistic care, including Hypnotherapy.

Dr. Noorhidayah is a dental lecturer and paediatric dental specialist at the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She obtained her first degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Universiti Malaya in 2010. She then served the Ministry of Health, Malaysia for five years as a dental officer in various urban and rural areas of Selangor. Afterward, she joined Universiti Malaya as a trainee lecturer in 2015 and pursed her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry in University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She was awarded with a degree of Doctor in Paediatric Dentistry in 2019. Her career in dental education and as a clinical lecturer begins soon after. She has presented multiple case reports and research projects in international conferences since then. Currently, she is also trained in Behavioural Hypnotherapy and a member of various national and international associations related to Paediatric Dentistry and Hypnotherapy.

Cheah Chia Wei graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She then worked as a dental officer in the Ministry of Health, before joining the Faculty of Dentistry. There, she underwent specialist training in Periodontology and became a lecturer, teaching general dentists and specialists in Periodontology. She has a PhD related to oral microbial profiling using 16S rRNA gene sequencing in relation to the inflammatory status of rheumatoid arthritis subjects with periodontitis.
Currently, Cheah Chia Wei is the discipline coordinator and clinical coordinator for the Periodontology Unit, postgraduate coordinator for Master of Oral Sciences (Periodontology) program, and also heads the Clinical Craniofacial Dental Research Group in the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya.

Dr. Nurul Liyanna is a specialist Prosthodontist with a dedicated focus on fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry. A graduate of the University of Malaya, she served as a dental officer for several years before pursuing advanced specialist training in the United Kingdom. She obtained her Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Prosthodontics from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, London. Dr. Liyanna is highly experienced in managing complex full-mouth rehabilitation cases, specifically those involving generalised tooth wear. She is a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons in both Edinburgh and Ireland, and her research excellence has been recognised internationally with awards from the British Society of Prosthodontics and the European Prosthodontic Association. At The Palm Dental, she utilises advanced digital workflows and Digital Smile Design (DSD) to provide precise and transformative restorative care.

Dr. Jaswinder Singh is a highly accomplished Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with nearly two decades of clinical experience. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2006 and later completed his Master of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His commitment to surgical excellence is underscored by his international credentials, as he is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr. Jaswinder specialises in complex surgical procedures, including the removal of impacted wisdom teeth, advanced dental implant placement, and the management of maxillofacial trauma and orthognathic surgery. Known for his professional and gentle approach, he ensures that even the most technical surgical treatments are performed with the highest standard of patient safety and comfort.

Dr. Saw Yi Hang earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Malaya (UM) and brings a wealth of clinical experience from three years of service in a government hospital. During this time, he managed a diverse range of complex cases in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, including wisdom tooth management and intricate crown and bridge work. Dr. Saw is deeply passionate about the integration of digital dentistry, leveraging advanced workflows and software to enhance clinical precision and provide more predictable, personalised results for his patients. Known for his gentle and transparent approach, he emphasises the importance of preventative care and regular check-ups to ensure every patient achieves a healthy, lasting smile.
